Revive the Early Roman Republic wars with Birth of Rome! Releasing 29.01.

Here some game screenshots:

Ager Gallicus 283 BC: the last independent tribe in the core of the Italian peninsula is awaiting the Roman onslaught. The Celtic menace will be removed when Rome defeats them...for a time.

Celtic Charriots: the mighty Insubrian Celts have readied their war charriots. Birth of Rome allows you to play with more of those original units.

Mercenaries 241 BC: the great city of Carthage made extensive use of mercenaries during the First Punic Wars...but they have now turned against their former masters, in a fight to the death...

Is Birth of Rome an expansion or a new game? - It isn't clear on the product page, as it never mentions having the original game...

It's not a DLC if that's what you mean. Birth of Rome does not require ownership of Alea Jacta Est as it is a stand alone product all by itself.

Yes we know - there is a hardware issue at the data center and they're fixing it. We'll need to get it back up for release obviously :(
