Day One:
Seeing as there has been very little recon done in this zone. Lastest photo taken 14 days ago. looks like the first day will be spent reconing the area and a few how are you raids just to see what falls out of the tree.

Day:
Sending in some Typhoon IB to go after his long range radar

Night:
Using Mosquito's with oboe to attack oil as it will have a recon flight early in the day.

Raid Results Day 1
Raid 4 & 5 missed their targets and went to there secondary. The typhoons angainst troop did some good damage but lost 2 planes shot down and about 4 more damaged. Don't think I should use typhoons against troop's again.

Day 2
Running most of my day bombers down the one stream with cloud at 55% I think there will be a lot of missed targets today. I want him to come up and play so I can see the airfields he is currently using.

Bomber command did not do very well last night. Tonight will attack rail and all oil with all planes only Squadron with morale under 50 percent dont fly.

This is my first major push

Mission List
5 major raids
2nd div split in two
3rd div split in two by plane type
1st div all in the one raid
as units loss morale I am looking to put up at least 6 x 100/150 bmr attacks with 3 rail and 3 airfield targets a day

Medium's will attack close in targets (eg airfields/rocket/rail) for the first few days and then switch to troop/ground attack,

Day 2 Raid Results

As I though many raids missed all there targets and the ones that did hit did very little damage. Good news the germans came up to play in force and suffered for it.

Day 3:
Very little cloud, so we have an all out day attack. The 1st,2nd and 3rd are split into 7 raids today going back over the same airspace. This time they should hit there targets.

Very few groups left on the ground about 5 from 2nd div as their morale was under 60.

trying to take out the last long range radar with 2nd tac, looking at the map now I missed sending a raid to the long range rader just outside paris Doh!!

Night bombers will not fly tonight

Day 4:
German have move aircraft to closer airfields so today's targets are 3 rail and a heap of airfields all bombed from 8,100 hope there are not to many HAA on those fields or this could get messy.

loads of recon (not on this image)

still trying to take out his long range radar

Bomber Command is back tonight all planes in the air, trying to put up a RCM screen see if it works. The oil I bombed the first night just went red and here I was thinking I got no hits on it at all.

Mission Report:

Still had the Le Harve attack go to its secondary and then bomb through clouds. largest raid of the day wasted.

B17 raid on averache missed everything they went all the way and dropped their bombs in the open.

Mozzie raid was good got in without trouble, lost a few on the way back to an Armoured units AA.

other than this a good day all round

Here is something interesting Bomber Command.

I had a row of 4 groups of 6 RCM aircfraft along the coast. These eather made my BC plane invisable or the germans where camping out in the wrong spot.

as you can see my raids came and went and he patroled up the top

Day 5:

Bomber Command is just going to keep on bombing anything and everything.

After yesterdays raids and looking at where the german troops in normandy are pulling their supplies our target for today is Creil Rail Yards and all the airfield around it. We will be bombing from over 20,000 so I don't expect to knock out all these airfields. problem is the germans have moved in about 140 aircraft into these airfields. I expect to loss a few more plane than I have on other days but I want to rmove this rail yard and try to destroy his maintenance ability from these fields.

Other target for the day is the port of Le Trait as this is another step in the supply line of normandy.

Just noticed I forgot to put in my fighter sweeps that I normally run down the edges of my bomber stream. (Oh Hell No)
