hunker down and pray the B-29's never find you.

Seriously, 1st turn is all about prep and movement to your goals. The more detailed you are with your goals, the more you can take by Mar31. It takes a LOT of practice to maximize this timeframe. Read Mike Solli AAR's, he gives good details on his prep.
