I don't know if it is becasue this is RA 5.3 or not, but when my opponent landed at Portsea I got the following notification. All of the reinforcement units ended up in the destroyed LCU list except the mobilization supply convoy which just disappeared. From tracker it does not seem that Japan received points for destroyed units. But now I have to buy them back with PPs. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I forgot to say that we are using the 1123f beta.

It looks like it is not even worth buying them back. Not only do I not get the reinforcements, now the 9th Australian division will look like this. Normally it would come in full, but now it looks like this and it is not in the replacement queue. Talk about bad thing going on. I am not sure Ii is worth continuing at this rate.

For sure post the save from just before this turn, and this turn.

I have never seen this or heard of it happening. I have been seeing DISPERSES messages from units, such as retreated base forces in the jungle, which I never used to see before the beta patches. By that I mean I never used to see that text stirng. It's possible Michael did something in that code which affected the emergency reinforcment packages.

Edit: Also maybe ask John III about how RA handles this. I think the packages are all in separate, same-always slots in the editor for the stock scenarios. If he took them out or moved them who knows what would happen?

I looked at both RA 5.3 and Scenario 1 side by side and the reinforcements all look the same. It doesn't appear that anything was changed.

RA did not change anything of this. When I landed and took Melbourne--Sydney Lew got his reinforcements without issue. Strange situation...

Which exe version were you using?

And to be perfectly honest, I don't think it has anything to do with the mod, but I am leaving no stone unturned.

But, some quick tests shows it is the mod. I made a turn 1 invasion fleet at Babelbaub using TF 3 and spped 17+ ships that
would land at Portsea on turn 1. I tried it with scenario 1 and the mobilization forces arrived as they should. When I redid the test using RA 5.3, I got the disburses messages. I have no idea what would cause it, but the latest 5.4 version also disburses the forces. So, what RA version are you using with Lew?

This doesn't look like your 'end-turn' save as it is asking for player 2 password. The proper save should ask for player 1 password.

The combat replay file would also do as it can be played out to see the Aus Mobilisation

The dispersal is due to the units not having a valid location on the map at the time of arrival. Not sure if this is a fault with the scenario or the logic in the scenario start up.
It is fixed in the beta code (in following posts) if you want to replay that turn.

Actually, looking at the code I'm not sure why invasion forces don't have more issues???

Changed the invasion mobilization to go thru the correct arrival process. This will be in 1123h in a day or so.

Just unzip the file into the beta directory.

Thank you michaelm, I have notified my opponent and expect him to rerun the turn. We will see what happens.
