Hyuga fell before the battle ended. Apart from that Nenohi and Haguro both took multiple BB main gun rounds. Escort abandons search for sub So, basically, I beat the pants off the first IJN BB TF but the second crushed my forces and finished off 2 BBs and a CL. Overall at the end of the evening the Allies had lost 2 BBs and 1 CL while the Japanese lost 1 BB, 1 CA and 1 DD. Overall I'd call that a victory for the Allies... especially since many of my damaged CLs and CAs are returning to action over the next fortnight and New Mexico is in very good shape.
