Would like to know if anyone has got it to run on a laptop with only Intel HD4000 as the gfx. What about playing the game using touchscreen instead?

Thanks,
Shaun

HD 4000 works fine. I can't comment on touchscreen as I have none.

DW is an oldstyle 2D running strategygame and not very demanding regarding graphics. HD 4000 means that you have a decent CPU which is what can significantly improve your game performance on larger maps.

The HD4000 should do just fine - even with the new engine coming with Shadows. You've got the strongest on-chip GPU on the market (It's still horrible compared to an actual graphics card though)

Umm, how about Intel Express chipset (Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family) graphic card? Any thoughts might it run the game?

One slight problem - as the name implies it is a "family" of chips, not an actual chip (So it could be any one of several)

Give me the name and model of your laptop (Asus J39 or such) and I'll see what I can pull up. I wouldn't hold my breath so - I seem to recall Intel stopped using that confusing name a few years back.

How are other games running for you? Could be a better comparison than raw numbers.

It should work on any of them, but the difference would be performance - that depends largely on CPU and Memory but GPU does have an effect. Some have much lower performance than others, so you'd want to run smaller galaxy sizes if you have one of the lower performing ones.

I have acer aspire 5734z laptop.
I do play Civ V, althoug everything is set to low settings. Well over 800h played on the laptop.
Victoria II also runs on the laptop.

I do meet the requiremets of proccesor (dual-core 2,3) ans resolution (1366x768). And as for graphic card it is intel GMA 4500M, I believe.
