I won't cover every section of starting a new game as some of them are basically the same as before, and I did miss the final slide for Victory Condition/Options, but there's just a minor Tick box on that one I believe. Now onto the Habitability of the Galaxy: NOTE : I added some info to the previous slide. As I mentioned above (fixed), resources are tighter now than before, so these settings are probably about right for a newer player. For my normal play style, I'd set these too "Scarce" and "Rare", but I found out the hard way that this isn't too good of an idea . . . Resources. There are generally going to be three or four resources that are going to be in tight supply (Carbon Fibre, Chromium, Silicon, and maybe Polymer). By turning down the settings for Habitability in the Galaxy you're also reducing the number of sources for these resources, as these are found primarily on the Habitable planets. So here again, is another area where you can make the game harder and more challenging. Range Colonization limits increase this even more.
