Jison, does the MapMod also make the changes to the WitE interface like I've seen on a lot of the posted screenshots, or or is that something separate?

The map is awesome BTW.

Yes it does. I just installed it and my gaming experience is blown out of the water

I strongly recommend it together with the Rainy Day in Russia Addition

Hello guys

I would like to ask a question regarding the Mad Mod. My resolution is 2560 x 1440 and on the furthest zoom the overall map looks like this (see picture below)



Is there any way I can make it cover the whole screen? It is not really a game breaker but it is a little bit annoying

Am I the only one to have problems to download the link Chemkid posted on page 9 (rainydayinrussia).
I tried to DL it using different browsers, and even reinstalled Jdownloader but it stops at 77megs while downloading.
Sad for me because this desatured map is incredible.

Bayard, was the download really slow? I'm trying to download now and its just crawling, will take hours at this pace.

Nope, I could download at my max speed (600ko/sec)but it stops at 70 megs.
Sometimes at 72 sometimes at 77 megs.
Using Jdownloader (this software allows to resume download that stopped for whatever reason) I managed to DL 210 megs but it was my personnal record

Well, mine got about half way through, 150MB or so, and then just 'finished'

Maybe someone who has the zip downloaded can post it somewhere?

If someone can share the mod I could mirror it to mediafire without any problem (and quickly).
But maybe Chemkid will re up his REALLY fine work.

I hate to bring bad news but I tried twice and it crashed twice at 77megs.
But if someone else can confirm it would be great.

Thanks indeed. No problem dowloading and extracting the 7 parts.

About the mod, it's even better than what I expected. An excellent improvement to an already excellent map, at least for me .
I can't thank you enough for sharing your work !

As much as I love Jison's original that looks very good too. I am a subdued color kind of guy so thats right up my alley.

Unfortunately I am using the default map only because there is no way to get a modded map in WitW and I dont know that my OCD could have the two games looking so different. :(

Great job! The map I have been using for a long time. Now even better with soft factors color indication.

A questions for Jison: is there any intention to produce a similar map for WITW?

I am afraid we can't have something similar in WITW since WITW doesn't use background images as a map anymore. So could only try to exchange all the single graphic pieces which are used by WITW to assemble the map.

I agree though that Jison's map is the most beautiful around and its beauty alone let me fire the game up again more than once after not playing for a while. Would be great to have something like that in WITW.

Hello Everyone. Say I am looking for the complete MAP mod for this game. However since I am new to this forum and such, not sure where it is, or am confused if this map mod is multiple mods. I went to this site but again am confused at the title MapMod for Panzer Campaigns at the download site, and not sure which one to download. So I tried the main mod from Jan 1. It basically gave me a DAT folder... now not sure what I do with that. Anyone want to help this old Marine vet out. Not to savvy with this tech.

Where can I download JSGME? I've tried several download sites and keep getting "Download blocked - unsafe website."
Is this just Windows security? What download site do you recommend?

What browser are you using? Chrome for one is somewhat restrictive, certainly regarding EXE files you're trying to download...

And though using JSGME can be a plus, it's hardly a requirement for WitE, provided you make a clean copy of the files the mod in question replaces first. Primarily the dat/art folder.
