ooh great deals this week for those who like the Napoleonic Era - Napoleon is Italy is a freaking good game, - i found its tactical battles really nicely done
but you need to run it with some compatibility settings if you are using windows 7 at least i found that disable visual themes and desktop composition really helped, and also set fps to 8 in the game menu- then it plays good without any freezing

i bought it though a few weeks ago d'oh! but Empire in Arms i will get although it is one that probably still needs some further patching i have heard

Empires in Arms is not bad, one will need to read the tutorial at least but i like the feel and detail of it, Napoleon in Italy is superb and easy to pick up and play once the settings are right

I received Empires in Arms and Napoleon in Italy yesterday...all of these great deals have a 4 day (order to delivery) time frame and are delivered by the USPS (U.S. Postal Service, I hate acronyms), great service!

Happy Birthday to the most blessed country in the history of mankind (in our galaxy, anyway) and Happy 4th of July to all of you wonderful gamers! I ordered "American Civil War - Blue & the Gray" this week and it looks and sounds quite good...what has been your experience with this game?

I think that showed great foresight on their part. Its a bit like Mary having the good sense to give birth to Jesus on Christmas Day - great timing!

Hello all, for all of you who do not own John Tiller's Campaign Series, this is a bargain! This is TalonSoft's West Front, East Front, and Rising Sun. TalonSoft was the pioneer in computer wargaming and a must for any WWII gamer...I highly recommend it!

Patrick

PS. I just ordered Battlefront, sure looks good!

I received Battlefront on Thursday and much to my surprise the printed manual with the game has color (colour, for you British mates!) illustrations! The deal on this game ends Sunday! Happy Gaming!

One of the better games out there!! You have to put a little time into it to learn it all but it is worth it. Ageod has a forum devoted to it and it has a lot of followers. They are coming out with ACW 2 supposedly this year, and is in beta right now! I'm already planning on buying it up fast. I think it has a product page here somewhere as well that gives screenshots.

Thanks Kurt for the information, it is much appreciated and I look forward to getting into "American Civil War - Blue & the Gray" in the future. I will definitely look into "ACW 2" also! Happy Gaming!

I ordered "John Tillers Battleground Napoleonic Wars" this week and I also ordered "John Tillers Battleground Civil War" with Napoleonic Wars for a sale price also. I've got all but one of John Tiller's game creations published by Matrix...my upcoming retirement is really looking sweet with all these Deal of the Week games...now I will have to find time playing all of them!

Hi guys

sorry but we have let this one roll over because of Historicon. We are frantically trying to catch up and left the current deal live for another week. Hopefully normal service will resume next week!
