Here is the 'Modern Cross' German counter in a zip file attached below.

It goes in Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm\ Modules\FPRS\data\WGerman.(Back up the original with the same name)

Edit: when starting a scenario, in the options menu, select update silhouettes/ backgrounds.

Budd, in the menu options is a setting to update sils and background. Click it and all should be good.

Oops I forgot to mention updating the silhouettes and backgrounds. I think it may have to be done with each new scenario that starts...saves seem to hold new image.

The sil and background images are saved in the scenario files. That allows you make a scenario with custom art and hand it out and not have to worry about packaging art files.

Good work Jacks, great counter background.

As for coloured silhouettes..I much prefer the all black thats in game. The AFV's etc I think are too small for colour and looses definition.

What would be cool but isn't possible is have the actual regiment\brigade symbol on the counter aswell.

A scenario designer could do that for any scenario he is making since the counters are saved with the scenario file. The only problem, all units must have the same patch. If you have more than one formation, it would be a problem.

How did you get it to work? I'm sure its a nesting problem, i've tried several folder structures without success. I have JSGME installed in the main directory with the mods folder and dropped the maps and counters mods in mod folder. I have tried them 1,2,3 folders deep without success. Any direction would be appreciated.

Thank you, i've tried for a couple of hours now with different folder structures and no dice. I've looked at other games JSGME folder structure to try to duplicate but no luck so far. I'm trying to load the various map mods and the counters.

Here's my structure to use JSGME. I have the MODS folder directly off the root game folder.I've got two mods in the folder, MapMod and Vehicle Silhouettes. Both are working in-game. The Blank mod is just a dummy with the folder structures in place so all I do to create a new mod is copy the blank and place the mod files in the correct sub-folders.

Have it installed like that, its the folder structure inside the MODS folder i'm wondering about. How many folders until you get to the modded files. I must be missing something simple, i still cant get it to work and i've tried quite a few structures. i have it working on 6 other games.

It all depends in the folder structure where the files to be modded are. You have to follow the file folder structure as if you are in the root folder. Map files, for example, reside in Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm\Modules\FPRS\Maps so in your MODS folder create a ModdedMaps folder then within that folder create the folder structure: Modules\FPRS\Maps and place the modded map files in Maps.

If you look at the screenshot above you'll see I've followed the folder structure for both MapMod and Vehicle Silhouettes.
