when I launch the game I get the message "unable to find PW data!!!"

Have you been moving AE files around, or copying/pasting for the install of a mod? That error occurs when you can't find your map file (pwhex).

If you have installed one of the beta patches you need to use the shortcut the patch puts on your desktop. It has (Beta) in the title, but the same black & white WITP AE artwork as the official shortcut.

I think I have realized what the problem is. I am out of country. Wanted to install the game on my new tablet and am not getting the option to download the game even though it shows it as registered. Had some one else try and download on my behalf. It seems what he sent me was probably the latest update and not the game.

So how do I download a game l purchased before?

Go to the Members area, then to Support. Open a ticket asking for another download (they'll want your info - serial number, purchase date, original email address etc.) and someone from customer service should be able to help you out. I had a hard drive go out on me a couple of days ago and just went through this. Matrix support was very fast - I had a new download link before I even had my new drive installed and system restored.
