If I am modding custom characters, what number designation would I give to a ship captain?

For instance, an admiral would look like this (for random characteristics):
1, John Smith, 4, admiral1.png, Human, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?

Admirals are designated as role #4. What are ship captains' designation?

All the roles, traits and skills are now listed at the top of the characters file for the race. I believe ship captain is role 9. Pirate leader is role 8.
