Anyone notice a thing about aircraft experience in the Downfallscenario that comes with the game and isnt modded? So the 8th AF is brought over from Europe, but with experience that dont match how it would be IRL. I see fighter crews with experience between 50-60 and they have been transfered from Europe and actually fought and perhaps IRL have experience around 80-90+.

I dont have an issue with the Jap cities not beeing ruins like they were OTL in September of 1945 because then the war would be over by December.

Most of the personel from the ETO with hi exp. would have been rotated home. The point system would have rotated them home, and not to the Pacific until a long furlo IIRC.

Demobilization likely took a bigger toll on crew members than pilots since officers were more likely to be careerists than the enlisted personnel. Even with the losses to demobilization it is likely that the commanders would have been pretty good as pretty much all of them would have been career officers with proven combat effectiveness.
