As it turns out there are three units ( 2 HQ, 1 arty ) that I need to evacuate from Odessa and there just happen to be some ports they
can debark from, so yeah, I can save the arty. Good thing too. And thanks for your interest.

In the south AGS has made 7 crossings south of Keiv. I may loss 1 or 2 of the crossings but next turn the Inf will move over in force. I still have a couple of eng units in reserve and may make another couple of crossings.

Here's a close up of the area SW of Leningrad where John is breaking through. I expect John to move south to unhenge my blockers
in the gap to the south. Leningrad's days are numbered.

I'd make him fight real hard for L-grad. Too early to kiss that goodbye. Even if you do lose it eventualy I'd make him commit substaintial forces there. But that's my two cents. That said several other troubling Axis advances in multiple places. Nice going John.

Well, okay, you've twisted my arm and convinced me to make the effort. Let's see how long I can draw out the inevitable.

Here's the best I could do to stop up the holes in the lines and put stoppers in the breakthroughs, etc. There's some spots that are
uncovered still ..........D'oh.

Another Bug to be fixed in the master copy. The 250 Blue div does not have any infantry only the spare equipment slots

If I recall correctly that division was made up by Spanish soldiers. So I'm guessing that there's an equipment called Spanish squads or
something like that.

Here is the front lines a little bit south of the one above. This part of the front lines seems stable so far. John is still moving units up
to contact.

This is the area just to the east of Leningrad and here's where John and I are in serious negotiations for the river crossings. John is
pushing my guys around and is brushing past my roadblocks.

Let him come. The Luga river has still to be crossed. And then there's the Leningrad outer fortifications. Sell it as expensive as possible.

I would recommend to strengthen the Kingisepp area first. He shall not cross there, especially as he's still stalled at Pskov.

EDIT: And a bridge bombing campaign in Karelia to further suppress supply of Finish/German forces pushing southward across the river Svir. And, as the Finns lack armor, send some armor up there.

Here's the area just north of Sevastapol and you can see where John is sticking his nose under the flap of my tent and I can tell that he
wants to cross the river there. I'm going to have to see can I rake up some blockers. If not it's no crisis.

All really good ideas. Keep those good ideas flowing and thank you very much. I'm trying to be as annoying as possible and I think I'm
doing a fairly good job. He's making progress but it's slow and plodding. Pskov is stable so far and I'm thinking Leningrad is safe for
another five or six turns at least. I'm fearing that he's going to come at me from the West and East simultaneously. The Finns are
pushing past my roadblocks and I think they may be here ( Leningrad ) in about four turns or so.
