Perhaps Obvert but it would have been messy and painful.. I'm now looking forward to play a game with DBB and stacking limits as I think that solves some of the issues of the stock game...

I think you're right. We had a chance to add stacking limits in mid-42, and Jocke didn't want to as he had to suffer without them in China for those first months, and he didn't want to then have to go through Burma with them. Ironically I think it would ave heaped him and really made the entire game much more interesting, where I didn't have to counter his massive troop concentration with my own big stack.

Next time. I'll be interested to see your next game and how it will play differently.

I beleive the allies can hold china, at least deep into 43, and if they do that, it is crippling to the IJ. But to do so, you have to start your defense on Dec 7, 1941 and you have to move FAST. It is all about protecting the Chungking valley and Kunming. The rest of it is up for grabs.

The IJA is in the Chungking valley
The IJA has half of Australia
I have been stopped in the Gilberts
The IJA holds New Caledonia north
I have (?) carriers.(ps not good wink either)
The IJA is in the Aleutians.
