Playing this sceanrio as SU player against DRommel.

Saw again and again how useles SU artillery is. Each artillery bombardment results in hardly any losses for Axis, but often SU artillery gets lost.

This turn I shelled a hex containing two stacks. One was an artillery unit, containing three gun, the other one wsas an infantry unit. I used five guns in attack. Lost two guns, while Axis lost a horse. Ridicoulus result.Why should I deploy artillery at all.

Leningrad is under heavy pressure. Have some artillery stacks there. But dont dare to use them as I am sure they would suffer losses without any effect on the Fins that worth to mention it. So I can only wait til next assault of Fins starts and hope that artillery might supply some defencive fire that reduces attack power of the enemy.

No fun with counter battery fire set like this!
