I'm a long time lurker, and I love the games from both matrix and slitherine. I'm also relatively new to the more nitch wargame genre. I've been playing panzer corps and battle academy since the spring, and distant worlds for the past month or so. I also just picked up TOW3 in the last weekly sale and am loving it. That all being said, i've never seen a company post a call to action "check back next week!" And then fail to deliver... Especially after the bizarre historicon hiatus (no one knew they were going?). I'm not saying this out of spite, but dissapointment. Sure, no one has to offer a sale, but remember the old saying "under promise and over deliver?" Just say the sale is for one week without teasing another sale and people won't be dissapointed when they check back and don't find something new.

Sorry we had our quarterly meeting yesterday and nobody was in the office to do it. Going up any time now!

Historicon was widely publicized on our site and had daily coverage so I understand not everyone may have seen it but it was hardly a secret :)

You have to bear in mind we have a relatively small number of staff and there is limited or no redundancy. When someone is out of the office or sick something doesn't get done. We're continually recruiting new staff but you can only deal with a certain rate of growth before everything stops as you train people.

Glad to see these are still happening . Unfortunately, I already own both of the game on this weeks sale so I will have to wait until next week
