Status: offline 		Not a big deal. I happen to agree about the book but still watch the movie anyway. Yes, he was a master for sure. We will both miss him, I'm sure. Ordered another copy of Red Storm Rising to read in his honor.

Status: offline 		Trite? Hijack? I really enjoy that movie and it wouldn't exist without Clancy's writing. You do realize he founded a media empire that went well beyond books to movies and computer games, right?
