Hi, I was trying to find the USS Gravely (DDG-107) (cannot post Wikipedia link because of new user restriction).
Maybe worth an add to the database.

It is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy commissioned 2010

Hi CptRoss

The Gravely is a flight IIA burke.
There are 6 of those in the DB, just pick the relevant model and rename it the Gravely.

See pic.

If every named unit was in the DB, it would be HUGE. That´s why there is only one of each type.

#608 - PLASN-9786 Delta III Stretch
still have SS-N-18 missiles, this is wrong

#647 - PLASN-9852 [Belgorod]
have wrong sonars systems in database it is MGK-501 Skat-KS in reality:

"Separately it is necessary to dwell on the products of the enterprises of the Concern "Okeanpribor" for the PLASN project 09852. The prototype GAK "Kizuch" was installed on the submarine project 945A order. 3004 (B-336 "Pskov"), the manufacture of hardware devices was conducted at the Taganrog plant "Priboy" from 2011 to 2013. On the basis of this GAK, variants were developed both for upgraded submarines of projects 945M and 971M (Kizhuch-945M and Kizhuch-971M) and for the PLASN of Project 09852, which was named "Kizhuch-PM" (PM is probably for "Remounting"). The order for the implementation of R & D on the subject "Kizhuch-M" was placed by the lead contractor (CDB MT "Rubin") directly to JSC "Concern" Okeanpribor ". In turn, the contract for the manufacture and supply of prototypes of devices for low-frequency R & D products "Kizhuch-PM" for order 664("Belgorod") for the amount of 414 million rubles was signed between the Concern "Oceanpribor" and the plant "Priboy" on July 1, 2014. [Annual report of OJSC Concern Okeanpribor for 2014, annual reports of OJSC Taganrog Plant Priboy for 2011-14].
http://bmpd.livejournal.com/1378165.html in russian

So, PLASN 09852 Belgorod should have MGK-540M Kizhuch sonar

#609 - NORSUB-5 [Pr.10831 Losharik]
in database dont have sonar , in reality :
"In addition, the enterprises of the Concern are developing a family of Gneiss products. The family includes the following options:
"Gneiss-SPE" for the AGS project 10831 (head 210 AS-12 aka AS-31 aka Losharik),
"Gneiss-5MK" for the AGS project 1910 (head №01402 АS-15),
"Gneiss-5K.1" for the AGS of the project 1851.1 (head 01431/09431 AS-35),
"Gneiss-PM" for the under construction PL of the project 09852,
"Gneiss-09787" for the currently modernized PLA of the project 09787 (head 381 BS -64, order 07381),
As well as for the SS PL project 09786 (head 398 "Orenburg").
In the integrated structure of the Concern, the head organization for the implementation of R & D "Triton-Gneiss" (for #607 - Triton-NN [Pr.21310]), is the Kirov branch of OJSC Concern Okeanpribor. Installation work on the installation of the product "Gneis" to order 402 was started by JSC "Vodtranspribor-Pusk" in 2012. And are ongoing to the present, for 2015g. Scheduled running and inter-departmental tests. In 2014 The enterprise started the installation of the product "Gneiss-09787" to order 07381, for 2015. Planned installation of the complex to order 01431 [Annual reports of JSC "Vodtranspribor-Start" for 2012-14]."

So,Pr.10831 Losharik have sonar "Gneiss-SPE"

also for "upgraded submarines of projects 945M and 971M" see :

The Tarawa class LHA accommodate 4 LCU 1610 landing craft (#1455). According to the database, the landing craft has 13 tons of diesel fuel. The problem is that all versions of the Tarawa class in the database do not carry diesel fuel so the landing craft cannot refuel. In order to refuel all four landing craft once, it will take 52 tons of diesel fuel. Since LCU has a range of 1200nm on a single tank, I don't think it would take more than 60 tons

I am requesting to have the entries for the Tarawa class to have an addition of 60 tons of diesel to the fuel.

Database entries: #364, 430, 444, 502, 676, and 1084.

Request new loadout options: Yu-10 torpedo (#3084) and tube-launched version of YJ-18 AShM (#2868) for the Type 093B Shang-class SSN (#590).

Recent official images shows that the Shang-class is equipped with those new weapons.

Are we talking about ground vehicles? If you remember, we had the same conversation about F-15E radars not detecting tanks sitting still.

Hey guys, can you post some saves showing unusual behaviour in this tech support thread?

This issue is a pretty well worn path but if there's a genuine issue and improvements can be made the tech support forum is the place for it to happen.

Currently in the game lots of multirole crafts does not have ground search capabilities. Actually all currently operational Russian crafts, even those that were especially designed for ground attack role like su-24/su-34, do not see even large buildings on the ground. That's a shame. Even old su-24 radar can see moving ground targets in real life, let alone large ones.
Meanwhile most US multirole crafts, even old ones (ex. A-6E, 1975), see ground targets. The only exception I've found is multirole f-16. F-16 (at least multirole mods) should see ground targets too.
Most chinese crafts have the same problem too in the game. Only some future crafts (2017-2018+) where given ground search capabilities.

Actually it is a big issue. While the game is focused at Air-Naval warfare, most SAM systems are ground based, so ground search radars should be given more love.

Please submit your save files and references sources here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4497357 . Thanks.

Yeah I could have worded this better. I've tested it against moving ground targets at various altitudes and the like but then I wen't and looked in the DB and it actually doesn't have ground search capability (It only has surface search, and air search) which I was surprised by, I figured it would have since it was an attack aircraft, so I posted here more to ask if it was a db error!

Trust me I am happy with your explanations about radar performance and the like from a while back, this was more of a "Huh, I figured this thing would have that capability" More than anything else, hence posting it in here.

That's weird, I don't show a Su-34 Fullback from 2017 in the database, and the one I have (#3723) is listed for 2015 *and* does have ground radar.

What is the platform number, and which database are you using? I'm on Build 473

That was a typo sorry, I am talking about the SU-34 (2015) version and its slot back radar does not have ground search capability. Your image is exactly what I see so I don't know what you're talking about, maybe you're getting confused by the LLTV below it which does have ground search.

Actually the Su-34 radar is Leninets V004, a PESA radar not related with the original series of NATO named Slot Back radar for Su-27 variants.
Between other performances:
- Maximum range 97,2 nm against aerial targets.
- Maximum range 135 nm against naval targets.
- Typical ground target range 81 nm.
- AFV target range 40,5 nm.
- Capable of tracking 10 targets simultaneously, capable of engage four naval targets or four aerial targets simultaneously, or a mix of both.
- PESA, Passive Electronically Scanned Radar.
- Is also a TFR/Terrain Following Radar.
- Compatible for designation of air-to-air target for R-77/AA-12 Adder and variants, R-27/AA-10 Alamo and R-73/AA-11 Archer missiles.
- X-Band.

- The existence or use in Su-34 of a sometimes annonced rear-facing search or air-to-air missiles fire control radar is in doubt.

I really like "#605 - Structure (Tunnel Entrance)" because it encourages the construction of complex deeply buried sites. Does there exist an equivalent structure but armored with a blast door, similar to "#915 - A/C Underground Aircraft Shelter Entrance (Blast Doors)?"

I'd also suggest similar small, critical, hard to find and hit targets for the construction of deeply buried hardened complexes like air/ventilation shafts. These complexes might be very much like airbases, with many possible entrances, air supply points, electrical supply points, fuel supply points, water supply points, and deeply buried facilities distributed over a wide area which might be struck.

And add unit garrison feature as well. TEL-based missile sites can house a dozen of those in the tunnel, and can be reloaded from inside if the missile is small enough.

And add unit garrison feature as well. TEL-based missile sites can house a dozen of those in the tunnel, and can be reloaded from inside if the missile is small enough.

That's a lot more complicated than it is to type.

Much more appropriate for the feature request thread.

MGK-540M

There's essentially zero data on the MGK-540M set that I can find. Are you able to provide data for me to create the upgraded sensor package?

MGK-540M "Kizhuch" is updated version MGK-540 "Skat-3", early called "Skat-3M", with some modernization based on MGK-600B elements,
as examle they have unified software p.239-241:
http://www.oceanpribor.ru/docs/Proceedigns_of_ISTOC-2016(348p.).pdf

P.S. also Irtysh TASS, part of MGK-600 "Irtysh-Amphora" and MGK-600B "Irtysh-Amphora-B-055A", according to Boris Voronkov (hydroacoustic engineer, creator of optical hydrophones elements) have range 320km , dont know what he mean as "open press" may be some specialized journal, cant find it:
"In the open press there was information that the hydro-acoustic complex MGK-600B Irtysh-Amfora-B-055 was installed on the Borey submarine, have range (320 km) surpassing that of the Virginia (230 km). Note that these SSNs are installed GAK operating operating in the frequency range of 10-480 hertz Domestic "Irtysh-Amfora" is equipped with piezoceramic hydro-backgrounds, working in the area of sound frequencies, which in water at the distance of 10 kilometers are weakened by a factor of 10. Accordingly, the SJSC "Irtysh-Amfora" can successfully work with targets, in the acoustic spectrum of which there are intense sound components - fast-moving surface ships. To discover low-noise submarines of the probable enemy, whose radiation is mainly in the infrasonic range, this GAK is less suitable

J-11A has confirmed to have new HMD helmet, very likely to be capable of using off-bore targeting missiles like PL-10:

So I noticed that the earlier DB3K versions (like B440) have drop tanks for the F-35. I'm just wondering why were they removed?

Because they don't exist yet and no one but Israel wanted drop tanks for their F-35s. So when such are created (for Block 4 if I remember correctly in 4-5 years they will be added to the Israeli F-35s in the DB. But others aren't going to be using them.
