A DB update for Block 3 F/A-18E/F would be a good addition.

Can you elaborate on this?

Sure. http://www.janes.com/article/78885/us-navy-set-to-launch-super-hornet-block-3-upgrade-with-service-life-modification-contract

Request bump for the Block 3 Super Hornet.

Finland #2372 - 70 Rauma 2013 class should have VDS towed sonar. This patrol craft is the main Finnish anti-submarine ship.

Kongsberg ST2400 Variable Depth Sonar (VDS)

https://www.naval-technology.com/projects/rauma-class-fast-attack-crafts/

Same sonar will be added to Hamina class (MLU finished after 2021) and four Rauma class will be retired. Also Hamina will receive Swedish Tp 47 systems, because this torpedo is still under construction older Tp 46 will be leased from Sweden.

Request PHL-03 MLRS have BeiDou guided rocket ammunitions with HE-Frag warhead, and it's range has extended to 80nm (150km). PLA has conduct such rocket trainings in 2018:

Suggestion for IRST-21 Legion Pod in DB amendment please?

https://www.janes.com/article/78769/boeing-to-award-f-15c-legion-pod-contract-before-end-of-year
https://www.janes.com/article/82808/boeing-to-integrate-legion-pod-onto-f-15c-eagle

The F-15C with Legion Pod is already in DB475 but not with its official designation.

From Jane's article it's been officially designated AN/ASG-34.

Regards
K

The B-1B radar is being upgraded to the Northrop Grumman SABR-GS which is a scaled up APG-83. It uses the same software developed by the F-35/F-22 so it can use the modes of operation on the APG-77/81 in addition to the B-1B's own unique modes. The B-1B is also getting upgraded with a Link 16 data link.

Could you add the JASSM-XR to the B-1B, B-52, and B-2 bomber? It's reported to have a 1000 mile range.

Noticed "US" F-4D and Es (and also J/S models) in the 80s are still equipped with AIM9Js and AIM7E/Fs. Wouldn't the 80s loadouts have the 9L/Ms and 7Ms(Ps)?

RAF FG.1s already have 9Ls etc..

thanks for any update to those..

About the UK PHantoms, from my personal notes (researched in many books years ago):

- F-4K/FG.1 Royal Navy service (1968-1978): no gun pod carried when in service in RN. RWR added from 1973. Missiles in RN service were at start AIM-7E2 and AIM-9D, AIM-9G employed from circa 1970. Remaining transferred to RAF 1978.

- F-4K/FG.1 RAF service (1978-1990): Added SUU-23 gun pod and Skyflash from RAF transfer in 1978, AIM-9L from 1988.

- F-4M/FGR.2 RAF (1968-1992): SUU-23 gun pod seldom carried. RWR added from 1973. Initial missiles in RAF service were AIM-7E2 and AIM-9D (just as Royal Navy), AIM-9G employed from circa 1970. Skyflash added from 1977 and AIM-9L from 1988.

there has been discussions going on in the Chinese military watcher forums and many people were as sceptic as you because of those reasons, me included.

But the size and the cloudy-white seeker kind of fits to the KD-88A ImIR guided variant. This seems to be a training dummy with reduced airframe but equipped with sensors. We have seen similiar ones for the Kh-29T in PLAAF service before.

There already is an F-15C circa 2018 plus Legion Pod in the DB.From 474 onward if not earlier. Only the Legion Pod designation requires a minor update.

In order to build the islands in the Spratlys, the Chinese have constructed some of the largest dredging ships in the world. They're amazing pieces of engineering. They might be a topic for a good futuristic naval scenario.

One request - the MQ-25 currently only has 6910kg / 15,200lb of fuel, yet the minimum threshold requirement for the real life MQ-25 is to be able to offload 14,000lb of fuel, 500nmi from a carrier.

With the current fuel (and with the MQ-25 burning 20.6kg of fuel per minute at cruise), this means that (assuming instant acceleration to cruise speed after launch and zero fuel burn while loitering / offloading fuel) the CMANO MQ-25 can only provide a max of 12,370lb of fuel (14,000lb - (500nmi/480kts)*(20.6kg*2.2lb/kg))

In addition, all 3 of the MQ-25 competitors (Lockheed, Boeing and General Atomics) claim that their designs not only meet the threshold fuel offload requirement, but also the objective requirement. The objective requirement is still classified / restricted, but it would surely see the 14,000lb figure increased to at least 16,000lb.

Also, the MQ-25's loiter airspeed is a bit high; I might have been doing something wrong, but with its loiter speed at 350kts and an E-2D's military speed at only 335kts, I wasn't able to refuel the E-2D. I imagine a realistic loiter speed would still be around 250kts, but seeing as this is a tanker, perhaps we could drop it to 180kts, also allowing even the refueling of CH-53s like as is done with USMC KC-130s.

Bump this request, particularly on the news that the contract has been awarded to Boeing.

additional DB update requests for MQ-25:
engine is Rolls-Royce AE 3007N with 4500 kg thrust
estimated initial operating capability date 2024

I've identified some possible errors with the ranges for the US MLRS / GMLRS rockets. According to slide 4 of the presentation "Precision Fires Rocket and Missile Systems Portfolio Overview to the Precision Strike Association" (I still can't post links but if you google that title it should be the first hit) the following are the correct ranges:

M30 GMLRS ER: 8-45nm (database 3-35nm)
M30A1 GMLRS ER: 8-45nm (database 3-35nm)
M30A2 GMLRS ER: 8-45nm (database 3-35nm)

MGM-140A ATACMS Blk I: 14-89nm (database 3-35nm)
MGM-140B ATACMS Blk IA: 38-162nm (database 50-180nm)
MGM-168A ATACMS Blk IVA while not mentioned by that name would presumably also have a range of 38-162nm rather than the database's 10-80nm.

Would it be possible to the DARPA TERN to the database? It can fit on any platform that is helicopter capable. The program states a minimum 600 NM combat radius for ISR and strike missions. It can carry 4 JAGM/Hellfire missiles and has the same radar and EO/IR Sensors as the MQ-8B/C Firescout.

JL-10/L-15 has conducted TL-20 and YJ-9E ordinances firing tests, so it is quite combat effective as a trainer:
