F-35s will actually carry tailored 426gal(reshaped 480gal tank) tank rather than any existing tank. Although it may not become available until after Block 3F. F-22 do carry 600gal tank, although maybe not on all 4 hardpoints.

I understand that you are intending to build some 'What if' DB entries. Here is one thought which may (or may not have) been produced if the Cold war had contniued:

USS Kaimalino, http://books.google.ca/books?id=8MwyTX-iA2wC&pg=PA348&lpg=PA348&dq=uss+kaimalino&source=bl&ots=J1EGzllOVo&sig=askZaonn2XW3_NKz6kLjQJpWQEw&hl=en&sa=X&ei=t74kU-XTNcTDqQHfuIDACg&ved=0CCcQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=uss%20kaimalino&f=false

A SWATH (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) design, Semi submersible platform (SSP). I think that there would be useful applications in a small helicopter platform ship - say 2-4 ASW Helos and a ship mounted sonar system. A dozen or so of these platforms could form an ASW channel for convoys to move through for instance.

In extremes, you could go as far as the Floating Island or the SS carrier described on pages 119-122 of this document:
http://books.google.ca/books?id=fFwrAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA121&lpg=PA121&dq=semi+submersible+aircraft+carrier&source=bl&ots=rN7MMh17h_&sig=OhgTm2AYiJ3OwwRXBcYvZvDZ8Xo&hl=en&sa=X&ei=RsIkU9jrF4jkrAGenoDAAw&ved=0CD4Q6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=semi%20submersible%20aircraft%20carrier&f=false

I came across this the other day and recall the discussion of the 'Floating Island' a few years ago. Pie in the sky stuff but might be fun.

[ADDED DB v437]

If I missed it I apologize but can we have the Sea Lance as a what if? If we're going to add the A-12 and the F-23 then this should be in here. In particular, note the version that apparently had a 200kt warhead!

[ADDED DB v440]

Hello everyone, i've been working on a scenario with swedish navy and discovered that following classes of active ships are missing in the DB:

Styrsö-class mine countermeasures vessel (currently four active in swedish navy)
Tapper class patrol boat (currently 12 active in swedish navy)
Koster-class mine countermeasures vessel (currently five active, note that this is upgraded Landsort class, which is already present in the DB)

It would be great, if they were added

EDIT: I've added some links to specifications of these ships, because i can't post the links directly (as I'm new to forum), so they're in attachment as a .txt file.

Only LCS-1 class carries TRS-3D radar and only LCS-2 class carries Sea Giraffe. I'd imagine they are similar in functionality and capability, but they are not modeled as such in game. Most importantly Sea Giraffe does have surface search capability.

The DB image for the J-8 Finback is incorrect, as it displays a MiG-21/J-7.

This is the J-8 Finback: http://www.ausairpower.net/PLA-AF/J-8B-PLAAF-3S.jpg

I believe the photo you are posting is the J-8II (See aircraft_499 in the database). The Finback A/J-8I is a enlarged Mig-21 with two engines. See image below. However, your point is well taken. The photo I used for Aircraft_795 isn't clear as to whether it is a Mig-21 or J-8A. I've replaced it with the image below (source: http://sinodefence.com/legacy-fighter-aircraft/#J8), and it will be reflected in the next database update. Thanks for pointing it out. I'm sure there are better photos, and/or mis-identified systems in the database, so if anyone comes across any, please let me know.

I think we can call it official now, the LRASM will be the OASuW missile. The development is rather rapid by modern DoD standard. Time to work on the loadout.

But I thought VLS launched ASuW weapon was a more pressing requirement. They have both JSOW-C1 and SLAM to cover the air launched side, only the B-1B option made it look a bit more interesting.

Could you add the new Swedish artillery system ARCHER.
24 systems will be fielded with the Artillery Regiment and the first has already arrived.
ARCHER will use the Excalibur round.

Granted, a lot about it is estimated anyway, but sources on the Vityaz/SA-25 (#2089) claim its intended range is greater than the 30 nautical miles it currently is.

Link here

quote:

According to some analysts, the range of the new system will likely be 30-120km.

120 km is about 65 nautical miles.

I am working on a scenario that involves the Glomar Explorer being used once again to recover a sub... and this recovery leading to conflict. I was wondering if the Glomar Explorer could be added to the DB?

Also wondering if icebergs could be added? these would do damage if contacted and need to be avoided... could use a few different sizes ? not sure if behavior like a ship or a mine is better... or how stealthy they should be?

A few more suggestions for facilities...

Civilians (Generic) <-- I know I posted this one already, but I think it got forgotten with everything else going on, so I'm re-posting it
This is simply a platoon-sized group of unarmed people. It can move, it can be damaged or destroyed, but it only has eyeballs as sensors and it has no weapons (unless it is armed using the scenario editor). Basically, this lets the scenario designer add innocent bystanders, refugees, unwilling human shields, hostages, non-violent protesters, etc.

Inf Plt (Generic) <-- just to handle all the armies for all the small countries that might show up in a scenario, but you don't want to have to have an entry for Togo and one for Liberia and one for Fiji and one for...you get the idea. :)

Inf Coy (Generic) <-- this is already in the database, but only as a placeholder. May I suggest the following changes: increase the Vehicle/Component Dispersal Radius to 300 m., increase the number of binoculars to 12, increase the number of 7.62-mm machine guns to 12, add 2 81-mm mortar, and add 2 x Generic RPG. (Don't worry about the SAM sections; these will have to be added on a case-by-case basis depending on which country the generic company is representing.)

Hey Mark, are these platforms that you actually need for a scenario under construction or are you on a "completeness" tour?

Please help us prioritize this pile, or you might find _that one specific platform that holds up your entire scenario_ being late to be added because you first buried us with 999 other not-so-critical requests.

Thanks!

Okay added several Korean units tonight. K1, K1A1, K-9 Thunder, K200A1. K2 is still hasn't been IOC'd in any great numbers and looks to be undergoing further development.

Thanks!
