I'm also trying to flesh out Cambodia's forces (same scenario)...

Harbin Y-12 <-- Chinese, widely exported, Cambodia has some

And more stuff for Cambodia, which would come in handy for the scenario I'm writing at the moment (but if I have to wait, no big deal...I will simply put that scenario on the back burner until the platforms can be added)...

Lushun (Project 062-1-G) <-- similar to the other type 62 patrol boats, but apparently larger and quite a bit heavier (212 tons instead of 125); they're getting to be rather popular...China has some, Sri Lanka has some, Cambodia has some, and Ghana is buying some, it appears
http://www.worldwarships.com/class/lushun-project-062-1-g
https://beegeagle.wordpress.com/2013/03/08/ghana-armed-forces-load-up-on-made-in-china-hardware/

(Not much to go on, I know, but I hope it can be added eventually)

While I was doing research on Cambodia, I came across this little marvel, operated by Sri Lanka...

Ultra Fast Attack Craft/Colombo Class
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_Fast_Attack_Craft

Sri Lanka also operates a 5.5-meter boat with a 150hp engine and a 23mm cannon (!) known as the Archer class but I could not find much information about it except the little on the wikipedia page.

Thanks for considering these.

Hi,

I'm not sure if this has already been requested but can we get Brimstone II added? It's got greater range than the original Brimstone:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brimstone_(missile)

Brimstone II:
60+ km (37+ mi) from fixed wing, 40+ km (25+ mi) from rotor wing[3][N 1]

http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/pictures-brimstone-2-passes-test-against-high-speed-391932/

It's already been tested on Tornado and according to this it's nearly ready on the Typhoon:

http://www.baesystems.com/article/BAES_178325/typhoon-fitted-with-brimstone-missile-for-the-first-time

What's interesting is they say the Typhoon can carry 6 Brimstone II and two Paveway IV.

Thanks!

Minor DB3000 nomenclature issue. Weapon_1074 Agni Missile. There are 5 variations of the Agni. Based on the range on Weapon_1074, I assume this entry is to represent the Agni-1 missile.

[ADDED DB v440]

I couldn't find it in the db, so I request to add the Podsolnukh E Coastal HF Band Surface Wave Effect Radar, at least for Russia. So far I read it is also sold to China at least. Could play a role in Black Sea scenarios and the present and upcoming events there, as its construction is announced for the Crimea. I linked sources in Baloogan's forum here
Probably it is not much data but generally some basic specs...

also still upholding this request for the russian SIGINT vessel

Hi,

I can see that this has been added to 1.06 but the range is still 16nm (29km) when it should be around 60km (37nm).

Thanks!

Hi
The database entry: 1722 - SAM Plt (Starstreak II Stormer) has a couple of torpedoes in the magazines in DB3000 Build 420, in fact they have an entire fort. Just a small correction.

another request to fill Russia's arsenal:
Training ship Project 887 Smolnyy Class
Two vessels are left of this class, both attached to the Baltic Fleet.
The class lead ship "Smolnyy" brings home the russian sailors from Saint Nazaire right now.
Characteristics can be found here: http://www.russian-ships.info/eng/support/project_887.htm

Hi there,

today let's discuss the Pakistani's JF-17 Thunder.

----------------------------------------------

  • KLJ-7 (Type 1478)

    Please create a new radar, "Radar, FCR, Air-to-Air & Air-to-Surface, Short-Range" I would say.

The NRIET (Nanjing Research Institute of Electronics Technology) KLJ-7 Fire Control Radar, also referred to as Type 1478, employs a mechanically-scanned phased-array antenna.
It has multiple modes, both Beyond Visual Range (BVR) and close-in air-to-air modes, air-to-sea mode, ground surveillance, terrain-avoidance capabilitie and a robust anti-jamming capability, according to Chinese sources. The radar can reportedly manage up to 40 targets, monitor up to 10 of them in Track-While-Scan (TWS) mode and can engage two targets simultaneously at BVR.
The detection range for targets with an RCS of up to 3m² is 75 km in look-up, or 35 km in look-down mode.

While it was originally developed in China, it's now produced and developed further in Pakistan.

Haven't able to find more reliable detail.

    ----------------------------------------------

  • #365 - JF-17 Thunder -- Pakistan (Air Force), 2012-0, F-7S
  • #3298 - JF-17 Thunder -- Pakistan (Air Force), 2015-0, F-7S
Name: "#365" may be renamed "JF-17 Thunder Block 1" while "#3298" would be renamed "JF-17 Thunder Block 2", as they usually are designated by officials during ITW.
Comments: "F-7S" could be dropped, it's probably the Chengdu-Grumman project JF-17/FC-1 originated from and was a very early industrial designation.
Date: No 26 squadron became operational on "#365 JF-17 Thunder Block 1" in May 2010.
    Payload Weight: 3400
    Sensors:
    - delete "#2506 - Grifo S" (The Grifo S was the radar in the initial development aircraft to qualify the avionics, but the PAF opted for the Chinese KLJ-7 system from the first eight SBP (Small Batch Production) aircraft.)
    - add the "KLJ-7" you created above.
    Mounts:
    - delete "#293 30mm China Type 1-30 x 2 [75 rnds]"
    - add "#1860 23mm China Type 23-3 [200 rnds, GSh-23L Copy]"
    - delete all rockets, the aicraft can physically carry them but are not used by PAF.
    - "#2114 - China KG-300 DECM pod" is claimed to be part of operational configuration but no pic confirm that.
    Loadouts:
    - delete rockets loadouts (1151, 1223, 1327, 1347)
    - edit "#1348 A/A: PL-12" loadout to have 2 "#1116 - PL-12" only, while they could load up four missiles, 2 is PAF's SOP.
    Properties:
    - add "#8001 Probe Refuelling" to "#3298 - JF-17 Thunder Block 2". http://i.gyazo.com/8ef50f037afde9810e520134ce888af8.png
    Propulsion:
    - Afterburner Static Thrust at S/L: 8300 kgf (8700 kgf is a "Take-off emergency mode")

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I noticed that a lot of the F-35 external loadouts are false. Especially those in long-range strike configuration.
The F-35 has six external weapon stations with the outmost pair only for A/A weapons. Leaves four pylons for bombs, cruise missiles and fuel tanks.

For example, loadout #3003 of the USN F-35C carries two external fuel tanks and four external JSOWs on four available weapon stations. This can't be correct. A twin-rail configuration of JSOW's would exceed the max. weight of the pylon. I found similar entries for nearly all F-35 platforms.

    Hello everyone,

I bought Command a few weeks ago and I am loving it.

Below I got a few request for the Royal Netherlands Air Force:

KDC-10: Ex-commercial airliners converted for air-to-air refueling (boom refueling) and transport.
DC-10: Same as the KDC-10 except for the air-to-air refueling duty's and was retired this year.

    C-130H: Ex-US Navy EC-130Q converted to C-130H
    C-130H-30

MQ-9 Reaper: 4 Ordered in 2013 and planned to be operational somewhere in 2017. No weapons are planned for the Reapers so far.

    CH-47D
CH-47F: 6 ordered in 2011. 3 more were ordered this year.

    AS532 Cougar:

Was not allowed to post links so no details on these requests.

So should I add an item that says Supreme says we're wrong about loadouts that don't exist yet because the drawing he has says x,y,z.... How much do you want to bet they're there because 12 months ago somebody had a drawing with full pylons saying x..y..z.. Might of even been you

I'm not trying to be rude here but you're asking for us to have a perfect crystal ball which nobody else has.

I'd like to ask that the South African Valour-class FFs (ID #1439) get a minor change to their helicopter facilities. Currently they can hold two small helicopters in the hangar, and the deck can launch one small helicopter. This is fine for the Lynx, but the ship was designed to allow medium-sized helicopters, including the SAAF's Puma/Oryx (which isn't in the database as an SA-specific bird), AW109 LUH (not in database as SA aircraft) and Rooivalk (not in the database at all).

    quote:

The frigates have one spot for a medium-sized helicopter. The South African Navy accepted four AgustaWestland SuperLynx 300 helicopters for deployment on the Valour Class vessels in February 2008.

    http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/meko/

Please allow this class - like the Turkish, Greek, Australian and Kiwi MEKO 200s - to operate a medium-sized helicopter.

    Thank you.

    Hi

First Time poster, only found out about Comd via ad on Panzer Corps login... anyway since then I haven't looked at Panzer corps. I've been a long time user of Naval sims starting with Harpoon board game and 3.5 inch floppy on the Amiga 500 back in the 80's. The only reason I bought a computer really.

Anyway reason for post is I've been updating pics off the web for the DB as I've found them missing, which is even more apparent with the upgrade. (So I've only had time for about 4 sessions so far)

I've collected the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy surface and sub surface assets, The P3 family, and a number of smaller civil vessels, plus my country's own ANZAC (Meko)Frigate. I've collected about 100 pics so far. Is there a central location that I can upload these too for inclusion in the DB if they meet any requirements you have?

Really appreciate the DB as I've found how hard it is to get pics that are a. correct and b. useable.

    Regards Paul

I just sent you a PM. Thanks for offering to help out with the image packs. The best way to do when you have a large number of images (such as you do) is to PM me, and we can work out the precise mechanism for getting them added to the image pack. I have one coming out relatively soon, so I appreciate your offer of help on the Iranian platforms.

    - delete "#1581 - 250kg GPB" , I found no evidence that Taiwain ever had bombs on its 2000 (or maybe stealth bombs that doesn't even appear on pic, who know).

    Loadouts:
    - delete "#5733 250kg GPB, Short Range" and "#5735 250kg GPB" loadouts.
    - "#5734 (Ferry)" loadout, replace "#1531 - 2000 liter Drop Tank" by "#1533 - 1700 liter Drop Tank".
    - "#5732 A/A: Mica" loadout, replace "#1531 - 2000 liter Drop Tank" by "#1533 - 1700 liter Drop Tank".

    Requests:
    Unarmed Civilians
    Civilian Truck

I'm building an intervention scenario, and there's not enough groups of unarmed people running around to be collateral damage (and thus a scoring penalty for just leveling the place).

    Add HNoMS Valkyrien (A535)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HNoMS_Valkyrien_(A535)

Not much info, but should be enough for a supply ship.

I created a hypothetical SSC based on the LCS. On it I placed the LaWS laser gun prototype. In the DB it says the laser coil shot has an air pH of 90%. However in a test scenario the base ph is 30%. Is this a DB error?

    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the correct place, please let me know if it is not.

When I double-clicked to look as the specifics of the CBU-59/BAPAM Mk7 it calls up the entry for the Raytheon Mim-23{can't read my own note} SAM.

    DPRK Mig-29C Fulcrum-C

While looking for DB pictures for CV60 i found this article, showing 2 pics of the C variant and also mentioning the "Gardeniya" jammer.
