I am pleasantly surprised to find that the physical package costs a hundred bucks. That's about what I'd hoped it would be and I'm happy to pay that for this game. However, I honestly, really, genuinely don't want you guys to ship the books to me. I am happy to pay the physical package price but I do not want you to send me the hardback books as you'd be adding at least another $40 to the price.

I have played the board game and know most of the rules already and so will be happy brushing up with Pdf files. Is it possible to buy the game with the option for you guys to keep the books and give/sell them to somebody else?

And please, don't tell me that I can sell the books on eBay

Unless they'll ship them to you for free, I'd still have to pay for them to ship the books to you. I'm thinking of changing the shipping address to Matrix' own sending depot. If they provide buyers with the option to change the shipping address to 'X, Y, Z' so that they know not to send the books to that buyer, that would be fine.

I doubt the shipping would be anywhere near $40 Sorry, not trying to make less of your concerns though. I should have stayed away.

Shipping within the US is much lower than shipping overseas. The order form says what it will be, so if Neil says it is $40, then I'm sure that's what it would cost him.

Shipping costs would be $42 for me. That's nearly 50% more and that's not funny. I see you guys are offering a discount for someone who buys the maps as well*? Strange. But if it is cheaper for me to buy the whole package with the maps and send the maps and books to a guy in the US, perhaps we can set it up. I only want the digital download and don't want the books/maps.

* This really is the whackiest selling deal I've ever seen anywhere. Usually the digital is the cheapest whereas the full monty is the cheapest purchase.

I purchased the physical game using a different address for shipping to MR in the USA. Shipping costs are $9 so I ended up saving $33 on the purchase and am downloading the digital copy right now.
