I do understand how you feel. They are asking the same price for the PC version as they are for the iPad edition....which as it's sits right now is missing about half the features the PC version has.

I posted this in another thread, but that thread kind of got hijacked by my question, and I apologized there. So, I'm adding it here to the official iPad question thread.

Rudankort posted that the campaign tree images will not be put into the iPad game library, but instead they will be in the manual, which is not released to us yet.

I REALLY hope you will reconsider adding the campaign tree images to the iPad library. They are just images. I'm sure there is coding involved, there always is, but this is not game functionality. It is just a static image. Is there a technical reason that they cannot be put into the iPad? I cannot imagine why you can't put these campaign tree images into the game proper.

It would be much, much more useful to have the campaign trees in game than having to exit the game to the manual to see them. The PC has them, so the iPad version should have them.

Bought the Grand Campaign '45 East add-on. I don't see any way to play any of the individual scenarios inside this campaign. I can only play the entire campaign. Is there a way to play the individual scenarios, and if so, how?

Hi. I notice a bug with the basic game on iPad : while the strategic map is displayed,
if I tap the "End Turn" button, the IA doesn't play (no animations, nothing).
The next turn starts right away.

As far as I know just like in the PC version it has to be on the main map. I will fire up my PC to test this.

Then, if it's designed that way, clicking on the "End Turn" button (with the strategic map displayed) should do nothing.
Actually, when you click, the turn ends and the next turn starts without letting the AI play. The player has to restart the scenario from the last saved game.

In any case, I don't see why the "End Turn" button would not operate the same way with the tactical or strategic map.

Offices are closed guys for the holidays, we open Monday the 6th again, but to answer all your Q`s: some missing Library stuff (some will move to the new upcoming iPad manual, due to technical iPad limitations), volume settings, some options settings, localization, all will be updated and provided in the next free upcoming iPad updates.

We just did not feel holding out the game any longer was justified as 99% is there, we add the last few things asap.

Hey everyone need a holiday! I guess I'm concerned when you say "some options". I guess this is just my opnion but if you charge the same price for the PC version we should get all options. I can't play on Rommel level. Please fix that!

Do you plan do add the other languages (French, German, Russian) to the basic game on iPad?

Yes. as stated above localization was already ongoing, I believe next update will include full Russian and German translations, no idea how far French localization is though, that is Iain his terrain.

I'll just reiterate my original thread here to keep it All in the Thread Family....

Twice during the mega campaign Polish Campaign, a message announced that reinforcements have arrived. However I cannot for the life of me find them anywhere on the map or deployment screen. In both instances I had one core slot available for a new purchase and they were both duly removed after the reinforcement message appeared. Despite this, I checked all over the map, but found nothing. Even if my old fart eyes would have missed them, I still should have come upon them when I cycled through all of the units using the next unit option, but none showed up, even during the following turns. They were also not present in the deployment screen either. If this is not a bug, then I am doing something terribly wrong...regards

I have played the dlc 1939 three times now and for me I have got all four "special reinforcements". You get the Ju 87 then the mnt jäger followed by the pz 38 and then the bf110c. Unfortunately for some reason there is only three levels of play in the dlcs. Sargent , lieutenant and colonel. Again I state they did not play test the dlcs.

Thanks for the details Rogo because I am uncertain whether we are talking apples and oranges here. The first unit you mentioned the JU 87 is an "SE" unit that I received at the start of a scenario. If I recall the pop up said that it was a recon unit with an pilot of dubious worth and that I should cultivate his growth and not lose the unit. That unit I receieved and if the other units you mentioned are also SE units, well I have not seen them yet at the start of any of the other scenarios. What I am referring to specifically is receiving a message in the middle of playing a scenario where a pop up occurs simply saying "reinforcements have arrived", now are those to be more SE units or AUX units? This I do not know as no additional units appear.

Ahhh I get it now!! I have not come across this yet. My SE units always Appear before the deployment phase. You only get two in the 1939 dlc.
