I have waited many years for MWiF with AI opposition. I cannot find any thread here with MG's statement on whether/when this will be available? Is this not worth a sticky?

It isn't available yet. This release does not have it. It will be available later. No specific ETA given. They've learned not to give hard and fast release dates. (Too many were published and missed over the past 8 years.)

Right now we're focused on supporting the released product. For that reason we "de-stickied" some of the threads concerning the AIO. They weren't deleted - they just aren't receiving a lot of posts.

When I get back to working on the AI Opponent seriously
, I'll bring them back by making them 'sticky'. That should be in the first 2-3 months of 2014.

As someone who did purchase the game knowing that AI wasn't in it at the moment, I'd have to say based on a ton of bugs causing many games to be restarted, unplayable etc. that the discussion regarding payment for the AI option should be limited to new purchases. I.E. those of us doing 'more beta' testing than playing since we bought the product should be given some serious consideration if there is to be a cost for the AI.

Just my 2c..
