Guten Abend/Buenos Tardes:

Just remembered I've been wondering about this for a while.

A ranged artillery unit (artillery icon) firing at an airfield hex is given the option of making an airfield attack.

A HQ with (ranged) artillery is not.

I assume this is a result of the respective and inherent icon properties. Yes?
And also I assume there is no workaround which is too bad because it does make a difference.
Was this addressed earlier (wish list) or can it be added (wish list) post 3.5 ?

Trying to stay warm......

Yes, it's a characteristic of the unit icon. And there is no workaround that i'm aware of.

Don't know if there was ever a proposal in the wishlist. 3.5 doesn't implement it, but will offer a workaround.

Thanks for the confirmation. Probably won't matter after much after 3.5 since the unit # cap will be raised and this was pretty much the only reason to cram tubes into HQ's. Will have to edit (mostly east front) scenarios where this is the case. Fun drudgery...

???? How ?
