Ver. 1.05, the scenario ended on the first impulse of turn 10 when the tank *next* to Wurtz blew up. Maybe he took some shrapnel in the head :). In any event, as soon as the tank blew up, I got unceremoniously booted to the end screen and lost the scenario.

There are no vehicles in Kalach Crossing - do you mean scenario #2 (Open the Door)? That one has a tank that is marked as must survive, the PzIVF1.

You're right, it was Opening the Door...and I played all the way through that 'til the abrupt end WITHOUT noticing the tank had to survive. Of all the boneheaded moves...jeesh. And I was sober, so I can't even use that excuse.
