To summarise then:

Da Babes Scn 28B with stacking limits, extended map, new Asia roads.

PDU ON

Symon's new air data files which limit some altitudes etc thus no need for HR here. Here is a link: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3460200

The latest beta: 1123x4

HRs:

PPs for restricted units
No strat bombing in China or DEI
Only one port strike first turn.
Allies not to create new TFs turn 1 but may freely move those currently on map.

All agreed?

We're a GO.

I do have one concern regarding air orders. Seems to me all the air units at Pearl should have no order changes or repositioning on turn 1.

Anything not broken on turn 2 is free to move, of course.

Same thing at Anchorage if we decide to do a port attack there.

I havent played AE from Japan's men side either. I suppose that doesn't make a difference.

We are going to need a lot of rickshaws! It will take the dhobi forever to get to and from the osifers quarters. Note to self. Hire more dhobis.

Agree, though somewhat reluctantly for Anchorage. A massive attack there on Turn 1 could destroy our will to resist.

Might need a few extra dharzi's as well. Lots of full Monty's to be sewn (perhaps sown) for this campaign.

If I was allies I would divide the command by editor number. Ends in odd one fellow ends in even mine. That should make things more even.

I thought you divided it by the number of spanners in a bag?

We all have to use the same Pwhexe.dat file. I would suggest that the person on your side that commenced the turn, send his file to the rest of us. That will take care of that problem.

Why would there be discrepancy if we all dl'ed the same files from DBB? Sunspots?

There should be a bit of Oman on the map in the extreme NW quadrant.

I will admit it was challenging for me to get everythign in the right subfolders and such but I did get it to run smoothly by loading a scenario. Admiral Lord SPrior sent me his save.

I suspect when we each installed the game, we installed a different version of that file. Mine is dated 2010. So please send me yours with the turn.

Those are not sunspots but heliograph messages from Oman. I am forbidden to tell you their content.

Weather in Anchorage will continue to suck. You may need to find an alternate target.

My HS Physics teacher tried so very hard to be relevant to youth of the day. God bless him. He *did* get us to remember Faraday's contributions to electrical conductance based upon his (fictitious) efforts at predicting weather. "Is it ah going to be a Fair ah Day ah today?" cemented that relationship in our mind.

Our chemistry teacher had a similar approach. How many moles in a guacamole? Avocado's number! Fnar Fnar!

Just thought I'd chime in to say Fabertong and I will be picking up the Allied side once things get organised. I must say it's very frustrating not being able to read Sprior and Capt Mandrakes posts on the medical system, SG et al.

Look forward to the game guys.
