Don't know if I am going paranoid here, but a number of my air units just disappeared for no reason! It is late April 1942 and I had a number of air units under the Northwestern Air Command, but on turn 45 they were suddenly gone, except for one unit! The same thing happened in the Northern Air Command, but not in the other fronts as far as I can see. I can see no air withdrawals in the reinforcement schedule, so what is happening here?

SAD airbases disbanded? Check event log.

Ah, ok, thanks! Yes, it should have been Air Bases, not units.

BTW do you also happen to know why all my Guards Separate Tank Battalions suddenly lost their Guards status?

Sounds like a bug. Can you post a screenie from the CR showing tank battalions sorted by wins?

Sure, just have to wait until it is my turn again. Unfortunately I have no screen shot of them before their Guards status disappeared. I think this happened at the same time I was building my first Tank Corps, not sure if that could have anything to do with it.

Your game version is up to some current release I assume. IIRC the last time tank battalions were patched was April '12.

Are battalions eligible to gain Guards status? My mortars never become guards, with 25+ wins.

Ditto. I suspect there is no TO&E for such a unit.

There isn't, but then there is no TOE for Guards Sapper Regiment either, and those I have had plenty.

Still think no Guards bat.

I am certain I had a number before, but now they are not Guards anymore. It was mostly the ones attached to the Guards Cavalry Corps, they have been attached to them all winter, so they got their Guards status with the Corps. Anyway, here is a screenshot of win/loss ratios.
