I was staring at this for a while, and thought it would be a good idea to share it with you.

There is a lot to consider for both sides here.

In the modding forum there are factory mods which are more clear on the difference in colours. Highly recommended.

US entry.

As I was doing this, I was paying more attention to what I thought I learned and not to what the chit values that I pulled or had removed, but I understand how it works a bit better now.

I would not mind losing the 2 production points so much, if the en route interception option was available.

I may have mistakenly called it bounce combat earlier, if I had mentioned it.

I used two more oil sources to make up for the loss. Still saving 2 units, however, I have to use one in order to have everyone reorganized.

I am not happy with all of that oil in Hamburg. My intention was to keep it there at the start because of the AA and fighter unit, to protect it from a bombing raid. I'm not even sure that it can be damaged or lost by bombing to be honest with you.

It is going to be railed away further hopefully to safety.

I wonder since it is being sent by rail, if it will count against my rail moves for impulse use.

For some reason the oil that Italy was supposed to save last time, did not get saved, and neither did it get used in production. That hurts.

The Japanese pre production.

This is a screenshot that I am interesred and a bit concerned about.

Again I think I messed up with the oil again. I may be wrong. Ive been cramming a lot learning the game the past few days, not to mention the day to day things that need to be dealt with.

Time to add some screenshots that I can come back and refer to in the future.

I think I know what happened but am not sure.

What I really wanted to point out was, how little action involving oil burning units has taken place in the past two turns. I need one unit of oil in order to reorganize all that need it.

It will not be long until the US cuts off half of my oil supply. I really need to save every unit of oil that I can before war with the rest of the Allies begins.

Considering that Germany in the first turn, used two units oil in its actions, how much will Japan need per turn, when its navy and air force will see a lot of action.

This is why I built the synth plant the first turn, and will seriously consider a second as soon as possible.

Germany uses .8 oil which is enough so that they have to expend a whole unit, which was the remaining oil in Hamburg.

The Japanese expend .45 oil which is enough to keep the unit. However, they have units that remain unorganized.

Before I get too far along, I wanted to show the units lost this turn. Add to this the only units lost last turn, were the Polish units.

I think there have been some very lucky rolls so far. But luck will only hold out for so long.

In the breakdown phase, the Germans broke down a 5-2 inf, which gives them about six divisions for casualties.

The CW break down a 4-3 inf in Calcutta. This should have been done from set up. One of the div rails to Bombay to protect the factory from partisans. I learned the hard way in one of my earlier games.

German builds

The Synth oil plant build last turn, killed the gearing limits for this turn.

I am still not satisfied with spending my last two BP because I had them. The CV will not win the battle of the Atlantic, but the fact that it is in Kiel is enough to tie down a few units of the CW.

Japanese Builds

Like Germany, the synth oil plant hurt the gearing limits.

Two unused BP saved.

France builds two militia. Like Russia, they will need an army to slow the Germans down. Nothing fancy. They had no INF corps available. 2 BP saved in Paris.

Germany scraps two obsolete bobmbers, and two 1 class CV air units. From the additions to the 1940 force pool.

It is officially 1940

Something I need to pay attention to towards the end of the turns is the remove air units phase. Have to free up the pilots from on the board obsolete units.

I am also becoming more familiar with scrapping units. My games have not gone on long enough to judge what to scrap for the long haul, so I am still conservative with scrapping.
