How does one make best use of the Construction Battalions attached to the German AGs to repair more RR hexes?

just don't move the hq, all those const. bns will deploy own their own to repair rails. If you are moving the hq all the attached units go along with it.

that's all there is to it as far as i know(AFAIK).

if there's more maybe someone else will chime in.

Lock OKH support and transfer them to OKH so they will be spread out over a far greater range. Keep one or two in AG.

Interesting "expert" approaches. Worth trying.

Is there much value in CB's at the corps & army levels?

Thanks for all the quick answers.

I bought WiTE at 1/2 price sale and glad I did. I've used the Leningrad scenario as AXIS with -50 for SOVs and +50 for AXIS handicaps. What this has allowed me to do is get the feel for the mechanics - especially movement & supply, without being frustrated right from the start. I even move just some key units like panzer units, then do a turn advance without moving many of the others just to see how they wind up with respect to supply and such. Then when I've understood why I'll so back from that save and complete the whole turn.

I know I'll easily beat the SOVs with that handicap but it has really helped me understand what's going on with respect to logistics. Next I'll try AG Center with -25/+25. Then try the whole front sometime after that.

hey guys,

I'm no expert. Got the game 5 months ago,

Make sure you are using the updated manual. You can find it in one of the posts, not sure from memory, where this puppy is. But!!, you have to find it, and use it. Imperative!

Agreed. I printed it out at work yesterday - all 334 pages.
