I have run into a game stopping bug that I can't figure out a workaround for, barring going back to early in the turn and redoing everything, which I don't want to do. Japan is not at war with the Soviet Union. The Japanese have a cruiser and a division in Bandar Shapur, Persia. The Soviet Union conquers Persia. Therefore, the Japanese units have to relocate. Unfortunately, MWiF will not let me move the division anyplace, but insists that I do so. As far as I can tell, the nearest friendly hex where the unit can stack is on the shores of the Red Sea. I have tried every reasonable hex, and none of them work. I can't even destroy the unit by using backspace. The prompt and warning message window gives the very unhelpful message "[81, 77] is the closest legal hex for the unit to move to." Unfortunately, [81, 77] is Bandar Shapur itself. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can get the game to proceed? I attach a game file at the unit breakdown step, just before the conquest step; leave the CW units alone, click through all the conquests, and you will run into the problem. Does anyone have a way that I can proceed with my game? Is there a valid hex that I have missed for the division to go to?
