Indeed that's a very detailed approach but you'll perhaps not reach the point to alter the ship names before a long time, I'll see what I can do for that and pass you the file. Also, do you plan to customize diplomacy dialogue further?

Yes, perhaps. Text customising is next step, now i work on music and art. But i had already some name ideas. Will be cool if we could take on it together. For now i think its better to keep it compatible with all mods (including Extended mod) - means , just to alter existing Ship name lists within Extended mod.

The idea of some alien races ships being named "Chicago" or even "Bluejay" just does not sit right with me.

Hey I have made my own custom "overhaul" mod as well... I could post up a link if you wanted to pick through it and see if you liked anything. It's from all over the place including my own tweaks... It's about 450MB. I have a huge music selection as well but since it includes lots of copyrighted music I'd leave that part out.

there 2 ways to generate names for each race - letter replacememnt or just composing imaginary names.
Gerneally, each race should have own list

It's basically my custom setup based on the extended mod. I bet you already have a lot of it but there might be some stuff in there you'll like. I made custom shipsymbols that are a bit more transparent, etc...

The first thing i looked at in this was the planets, how are the HD planets holding up? I know i was having trouble with them on Nveks mod which prompted my change to GEMs planets. But I would MUCH rather have the more realistic looking HD ones.

Edit: Also what do you guys think of the military ship outlines in GEM? If alot of you are using I may add it in an update.

Edit2: You'll notice i got rid of the version number. I don't really see a need for it.

Thanks :), yes there will be updates in the future. Mostly pending on updates by the various mods included and to be included in the future.. There is also a mod I was working on to be included but currently I'm on Hiatus. Very busy still.
