Hello,
for what is this file? Have i now the opption to add timelines after 1953, like 1954 to 1980 ? i hope so

Hello,

Those are the timelines for random battle generation. Now you can generate battle for the period of 1930-1953 the OOB files support. More information about random battle generation in 2.01 can be found from my Developer Diary #2. Check the Diary #3 as well, they are related.

Well the Battle Generator menu is limited to these dates, as is the Organization Editor you would typically use to create an organization file to a custom scenario. Apart from those, with -X NoEncryption option you can tweak the Platoon oob files as you wish.

So as long as you are OK to come up withan org file for a scenario, you are good to go anywhere you want to. See the Developer Diary #3 for a small example.

As for timelines and random battles, the front end menu will limit you to these dates.
