What percentage of population can you expect to reinforce during invasion? was it about 20%?

on a 17538M planet with 457 troops, I need how many?

457 troop strength in the "battle details", I assume? I would aim for triple that as shown on the fleet, with space control, armored breakthrough, special forces in addition. Check if the details have the bonus for any special forces, defensive fortifications, and such included in the 457 strength.

I am not a pro war monger, so I have no good feeling for how much is actually needed.
