Finished this map after testing various new methods.
I went for a more realistic feel, and it definitely added to the battle IMHO.

I also did a version with a broken hex.
Just edit out the '-Broken hex' before placing the file.

I like this better than your other maps.....there both sweet but i prefer this style. What your opinion on putting road labels on the map?

The colors for heights are very intuitive. Oh my god! we have plenty of amazing maps to choose..

i like the broken hex version ...it has something like 'playing on a sat-picture of a landscape with tatctical overlay of units' sitting in a HQ vehicle or underground command center'
very immersive
