A fellow in the Flashpoint Red Storm folder found a Russian wargaming site. It has AARs for WiTE and I thought Id post a slice of one here (translation via google translate):

Passed the first month of the war. Fights go along the entire front from the Baltic to the Black Sea. In the first month of the fascist aggressor received a fitting rebuff, losing more than 120 including killed and wounded, 800 tanks, 1.5 tons of guns, more than 700 aircraft. The Red Army, bleeding, continues to constrain the aggressor on the borders near Smolensk, on the borders with Estonia and in the territory of the right-bank Ukraine.

There was particularly heavy fighting last week in the Smolensk region, where the enemy was able to beat the Soviet Army troops 3x and move 90-120 km deep into Soviet territory and reach the city of Smolensk. Nevertheless, the Nazis expensive gamble worth it, the enemy lost a large number of soldiers and officers. Samayoa dangerous situation in the south, where the Germans in heavy fighting in the area Korosten - New Borovaja managed to cut the 5 parts A and three MK SW Front. The Germans tried to surround our part, but they failed, and SW front, under the command of Kyrponosa, has successfully come out of [uncertain translation], simultaneously destroying the presumptuous Nazi warriors. For example the Zhmerinskaya offensive, which resulted in two divisions of the enemy were repulsed (60 MD and 2 Hungarian IDB). 12 Army enemy forces suffered heavy damage (including more than 2,500, more than half tanks IDB).

Alas, the entire SW frontage had to retreat to the east, due to threats to the supply lines of our armies and the imminent threat to the capital of Soviet Ukraine, Kiev.
