Is it just me or does it take forever to trade technologies with a race who has 20 or more techs available?

Take a race that is at or above level 5 tech and try and trade with your level 2 tech race. It can take 30 seconds to display the list of techs available.

Now select a tech from that long list and wait another 30 seconds for the list to repopulate.
It once took me 30 minutes of real time to buy or trade for just 5 techs. (ok, I took breaks while waiting for the list to repop).

That is patently ridiculous. You have the list of techs, just delete a line (or mark it as not available). You shouldn't need to go back and recalculate everything that was in the list every time you select one tech for trade.

Same as finding asteroids in your own systems mid to late game in the expansion planner, an absolute timewaster waiting for the resource list to update, have asked many, many times for a filter for 'Your Own System Resources' to just show the green entries with a checkbox to display just asteroids, asteroids and planets or planets.
