Time for all group planes to reach interception is 17 minutes Losses are getting stiff at this point as a result of my fighters wearing down. I've transferred the mob to Bombay for recovery. I've also brought in a couple fresh bomb squadrons as well as some of the lesser fighter squadrons, in case he decides to retaliate. The intel screen shows me as sinking Yamato at Colombo, which is a laugh, since she was ravaging Suva not long ago. I guess with the battleships torched, that opened the door for everyone else to take their hits. No sign of these two battleships, and my PBYs don't see anything trying to flee. I'm pretty confident they're both dead at this point. I'll take several weeks to recover, and give the airfield(s) on Ceylon my full attention. Elsewhere, base forces are unloading at Savaii and Ta'u. Two cargo TFs are loading at Pearl for these two to make sure they have enough to build with.
