Well the closest thing about SP IV is WaW ;) AFAIK the project has been likely cancelled by SSI. Combat Leader looks quite promising as a new tactical WW2 wargame...

I think the SP IV myth was given additional life by an ad in a computer mag not too long ago that actually offered it for advance sale for around $39.99.
