I wanted to congratulate the devs on a job well done. I'm currently playing Operation Brass Drum and loving it(although I just sent the Russian sub to the bottom of the sea without being attacked by them). I also believe that scenario was created by Prixmach or something like that, so cheers to him for a great scenario. So overall great sim and I look forward to divulging more into this!

I too am playing this scenario. You have to make sure you edit the rules of engagement for your plotted missions or individual aircraft to remove "Engage Non Hostile Targets" this will prevent you from firing on the Russians. What has been your strategy so far? I used mass tomahawk cruise missile attacks to eliminate all the Iranian runways within the allowable target area. With the Iranian air threat eliminated I am able to deal with SAM sites, radar installations, and surface to surface missile batteries with stand off weapons and naval gunfire from the Zumwalt.

I manually attacked the Russian Sub. On the message log it said there was a large explosion by the LCS Sioux City. So I decided to attack believing it was an Iranian Kilo Class Sub. I too have used Tomohawks, but they came from the U.S.S Texas. So I'm debating whether to launch from the Zumwalt SAG. I'm preparing a strike right now with my F-18s, so hopefully I can get a decisive win here soon.

Careful with those Iranian subs, they are hard to detect and can easily be stumbled upon.

Thanks for the warning. That's what happened with the Russian Sub. One minute he's not there, the next, he is.
