Hello,

I just bought the game on Steam. When I went to save my first game, I see that the save files are designated .DWG files. This is the same as my AutoCAD Drawing files, which are also .dwg. So the autosaves in the save game folder appear as Acad Drawing files and not Distant world files. I loaded one and it loaded okay. So maybe it doesn't matter.

I'm not tech savvy whatsoever. My concern is that the game might somehow mess up my Drawing files, which, of course, would be a disaster. Is this a known issue? Or is it an issue at all?

Different programs using the same file extensions is a common thing, and is completely harmless. DW or Autocad wont touch eachother's files unless you tell them to, and even then it will only overwrite them with their own file (ie save/save as), or read them and then tell you that it is corrupt (if you try to load them). DW's saves appearing as autocad files is simply due to Window's automatic file association, attempting to open them will just have autocad telling you the files are corrupt and unreadable.
