My current PBEM opponent Rev Rico are looking to try two person Japanese team vs. one or two Allied players. He's going to be the IJN and I'm going to be the IJA. Both of us are pretty experienced so newbies should probably stay away.

As for mods we're thinking Latest RA plus latest Beta but we could be persuaded to try other things. As for rules currently we are playing this with eachother so it seems logical to start with these. If you have issues/suggestions we're ears:

1. Fighters on CAP or SWEEP have a max altitude 10,000' less than their ceiling.
2. No strategic bombing from or in China.
3. 4E Bombers cannot Naval Attack below 6,000'.
4. Restricted LCUs crossing national borders must pay PPs
- Restricted Allied LCUs can walk to Akyab
- Thai units can enter Burma and Malaya
5. Restricted air units must be paid for individually and not en masse with an HQ.
6. No uber resizing of CV air units (50+)
7. No surface ship passage thru Malacca straits unless Singapore is owned
8. Night airfield or port bombing limited to a one squadron per target .

I`m not up to the skill level for this, but just curious as to how you would divide the Imperial game workload in PBEM ?

Good question. I was think along similar lines as the IJN and IJA did historically. I'd manage the land campaigns and Rev Rico would manage the navy and industry. Probably divide theaters as well.

I don't think we have to have two Allied opponents. If someone is up for it, I think we'd go for it.

Ideally, if you can find a third player to be the Emperor of Japan, then he can arbitrate any disputes. He doesn't even have to own the game or understand the rules. He can just sit behind a curtain and mumble.

I forgot about stacking; ya let's include that. And that's cool you found another Allied player; a 2 vs. 2 could be interesting. Hopefully we can keep the turn rate up; I know Rev Rico and I are pretty consistent and will be able to do 1 a day with both of us touching the turn.

We should probably coordinate over email because we have multiple players involved. I just sent you an email through the Matrix forum.

RA or BTS is designed for the extended map and stacking limits. A 2x2? Should be fun!

I am in with rjopel. Will be fun to play with him on my side. Although, my JFB friends may disown me after two games as the Allies. I am just chalking it up to learning more about your enemy!
