Let me see if I understand this. You no longer control Leningrad yet you are getting Leningrad Militia divisions? Isn't there something wrong there? There should be an event withdrawing any militia divisions from the OB if their city is captured. These divisions were drawn from the civilian population of the city. They should also not reconstitute once destroyed. Historically they were either disbanded to create replacements for regular divisions or were made regular divisions themselves.

I agree with all of that Lobster dude. Something else to fix about this scenario. As it is if I don't control the hex they spawn in they
don't spawn in it. Almost as good. As soon as I control the hex again I get 'em if the turn they appear has past.

I have just started on turn 51. The front line for most of the map has not moved much and Larry and I are waiting for the onset of winter. The far north (the attached map) appears at present to be Larry's main effort. If Larry does attack in this area the arrows are his likely routes of advance. I have noticed a number of units being shipped north and 11 units appeared out of the blue this turn. They are in the top circle. I have no idea what is in the area with the question mark. All the lakes in this area will freeze over during winter so Larry can make a deep penetration into this area. That is why I have whited out my positions so that I do not give Larry a free kick. What freezes over will un-freeze come spring and unless Larry can establish a line of supply, any penetration will be cut off and lost in due course.

I think the best Larry can aim for is to cut off the 6 divisions at Onega. However to do that he will expose his left flank to what ever forces I have in the whited out area. We will just have to wait and see what surprises are installed and for whom.

On a side note it is interesting to see the number of hits on this AAR has almost doubled in the past 2 weeks.

Just to give everybody the heads up I will be going on holidays to Norway and England and Wales for a month (12 Feb to 14 March) in about 7 weeks time. (To see the Northern Lights, family and snow.) So during that time the game will come to a stop but rest assure it will restart upon my return. (Unless I win the game in the next 7 weeks )

Here's one section of the far north front lines. I'm just now getting my light screen in place for when the rivers freeze over. I'm not
sure that an invasion of the far north is a good idea. I mean just take a look at that terrain and all the good defensive positions
between here and Leningrad. It would take the rest of the war to get from here to there. If it's doable at all. I think maybe I'll just
screen and defend.

Here's my T51 Rifle Squad losses so far. I'm starting to get alarmed at the extent of my losses. Especially since there's nothing
to show for it. Some of my units are down to 1/2 strength and need to be rested so they can refit.

Just started on turn 55 and all the Finn units are coming up with this message. Another bug?

ALL of the Finn units give that message? Is there some kind of equipment in the unit that would cause
that message, some fixed guns of some kind. Otherwise I'm guessing it's a bug. You may have to
disband all of them. LOL. Sorry that just slipped out of my mouth. Um.......What happened on T55
that caused that? We may have to abandon this game if you can't find a workaround or something.

Do not know why it happened on turn 55, has not happened in any previous turn. Will look into it. Each Finn's Regt has a spare equipment slot and when I move the unit the equipment in that slot is lost.

PS
In 2 wars no able body officer from my regiment ever surrendered and I do not feel like shooting myself in the foot just yet.

Help (I do not want to have to shoot myself in the foot)
The above problem (abandon all fixed equipment) is now in all Italian, Hungarian, Rumanian units that have the last slot on the unit report as “Spare equipment”. It only occurred this turn (55). In the previous 54 turns this has not happened. I have now reloaded a number of previous “middle of the turned saved game” and reloaded a number of previous turn files (a couple of 2X and 3X) that Larry sent me. The problem is now appearing in all of these turns. This is what I can not understand. I have shut down the computer and reloaded the previous files and the problem still exists. If it was an event error then by reloading earlier games from the twenty X and thirty X then the error should not happen.

I am at a loss. Any ideas? Is this a possible bug in 3.6.0.88?

If only there was someone we could turn to to fix this problem. Someone like Ralph.

Well dear Reader: It looks like we're at an impass and will have to abandon this game. Too bad too because
I was just about to defeat John soundly.

Can you post a screenshot of a Unit Report for one of the problem units?

And, what scenario is this?

Also, I assume you would tell us if you were getting a "Playing with the wrong equipment file" message, right?

Hi Bob,
I have just sent you a PM and yes I was getting that message but it was my understanding that this is one of the bugs in 3.6.0.88

I'm not aware of any such bug. Are you saying that you have always gotten that message with this scenario? If so, how can you know you ever had the correct equipment file?

I'd still like to see a screen shot.

Edit: Note that the problem you're having is just what you would see if you were using the wrong equipment file.

Probably off topic but still: I've always gotten the wrong equipment file message but it always went to the PBEM file anyway for some reason. Loaded the file
when it should have crashed to desktop like the other exe's.

EDIT: And I'm using 3.6.0.88 just like John Fogger

Screen shot attached. The wrong equipment file has always come up. When I was testing FITE2 I was advised not to worry about it.

I'd like to see the very bottom of the list of your inventory so I can tell if there are spare equipment slots there.
