I see the other forum post for how to edit scenarios went unanswered so I'd thought I'd throw my question out anyway.

1) How do you delete a road or river section?
2) How do you create a custom map size?

Also, I noticed that it is very hard to put in a custom map size. I used ctrl-shft-n/m to set boundaries, but when I reload the map it is not the focus of the editor, it can be dark in color and the area that is bright for editing has the hexes but is no where near my custom map is.

I also noticed one time when I actually made a map and saved it after running the LOS option that I could actually load it into the game. I was so excited to see my map, however, it included a very large area outside my custom boundary and the part of the map with my roads and buildings were dark, but the unpopulated additional areas were bright.

I have some scenarios that I want to input, but the editor is proving to be beyond me so far on simple tasks. Any assistance would be great. Thank you.

Jaedrian,

I hope you receive an answer from either WCS or Matrix. Considering the long period of silence from any of the powers that be - I'm not optimistic.

Hi Jaedrian,
The editor can be very clumsy at most times, but you will get the hang of it with enough tinkering.
And a lot of things can be done, including making custom board game maps.
Sorry I can't give you specific answers to your questions, but I haven't used the editor in a long while and I'm swamped with other projects at the present.
Delve into the files of the game to see how WCS made up their scenarios and maps and then trial and error.
Good luck

There should be menus at the top for both allied and axis units. Are you seeing menus for each? If not, would you mind posting a screenshot showing your editor screen.

Selecting "clear" from the map tiles list and then applying that (either in the tile or along an edge) should clear any sort of terrain feature. Ctrl-Shift-n/m is used to customize the map size, but you need to make sure you use n/m with the right corners; if you use these and see a red box, your area is good; if not, try it again.
