I would like a popup during auto targeting so I can manually allocate the weapon and weapon count, so I expend only
the ordinance I choose. did this come up in the polls?
thanks.

I don't recall anyone requesting that before. I think people who want that kind of control just order the AI to hold fire and use manual targeting.

You can manually target ahead of time which accomplishes the same task.

But the AI can't do that. If for example I take a SA-21 and I fire some GBU-39's its way then the S-400 will try to take take out the munitions coming its way with long range missiles like the 40N6 (which the SAM Bn usually has only a few) and not the short range 9M96E (which the SAM Bn usually has a lot, since it is cheaper and more dense to pack on a TEL).

Sure you can.

Right click on the SAM battery, select Attack Options, then select one of the Hold Fires in the drop down list. You can then manually allocate what you'd like to.

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike,

I meant for the computerside of the game. If I am playing against the computer then the AI running the computerside then uses first long range 40N6 missiles to shoot down guided munitions, and then goes to shorter range missiles when the long range run out.

Don't worry Mike it is not a pressing issue. Unlike some other things
