Whenever i try to take a screenshot of any ingame screen or map, the screenshot comes up as full black.

Does the game keep screenshot in any particular folder?

Steps to reproduce:
Press PrtScr while in game
Alt+Tab to windows
Open up MsPaint
Press CTRL+V
The screen capture comes up as a full black

then for a guess your using windows 8.1?

chances are you need to read the manual and find out what key the games uses then, if the default ones don't work, as some games alter the default key

Your right, its a windows 8.1 problem, thanks for the tip

Got it working using fraps.

there will be a inbuilt game key if the standard windows ones been disabled, try F8 or F12 etc, or maybe someone else may be able to give some insight?

There could be problems to take screenshots with print-screen button in fullscreen. I didn't try it myself, but some testers reported that it could be "fixed" by disabling Aero desktop. It should work correctly in windowed mode. There is no other key rather than print screen button.
