Just started to play after a fresh install and update on a Win 7 machine.

All seems well except that when I scroll to zoom in or out there is always a little Window which pops up and says "this may take a few seconds". Is this normal on Windows 7? I have applied compatibility mode.

Win 7, i7, 290GHz, 6Mb Ram.

It happens to me too, but it only takes a second or two for the resizing.

Glad to see someone else playing on Windows 7! Now, why am I seeing all text as blocks rather than letters?

Opening screen: central window with selections, as well as the mouseover text at bottom of screen, shows multiple small "blocks" instead of letters. Can't correct it even with multiple screen resolution settings, and with going to a small DPI setting. How to correct?

Pls attach .ini file and your system specs, e.g. screen resolution.
