Operation Fei Lian - 2/16/2015 2:53:37 PM

Operation Fei Lian depicts an attack by the PLAAF against the North Korean strategic nuclear forces, involving some of the shiny toys that the Chinese have been buying. Have fun!

Some notes:
There isn't a real endstate to this one - unless you lose.
Make sure you read the briefing - some of the notes about approach routes and distances are quite important.

V. 4: fixed side orientations.
V. 3: made Lua scripts more robust - thanks Dandin
V. 2: fixed a number of things - thanks SSN, bostonmike, and JanMasterson.

I'm running CMANO in version 1,11 RC8 and as soon as mission start i get messages like this:

With those units flashing visible/invisible all the time all over the enemy territory. Tried also on another PC and it's the same. I don't know if issue is scenario related or caused by Release Candidate but i hope it can be solved!


PS: tried with v1.10 and there is no issue

Status: offline 		I Updated the game to 1.11 RC14 and issue is still there. I also tried a deep scenario rebuild but issue was not solved.
Someone else experience this problem?

Status: offline 		I can confirm I am having the same problems with RC14 and all of the previous RCs. Hope this gets fixed soon because it is a really enjoyable scenario!

Status: offline 		This is a very interesting scenario but even after a half-dozen attempts, I'm not getting anywhere close to winning it. The SSMs don't seem effective at all (whether targeted against shelters or revealed Missile Artillery) nor do airstrikes against NK airfields seem to have much affect on slowing the swarms of NK fighters which appear to disrupt my attempts at locating and destroying the Missile Artillery once they appear. I also tried waiting 6 hours until darkness but that didn't help.

Twice I was able to destroy the "Tunnel Exit" and I saw a message that the an event fired as a result. I thought perhaps that meant I had prevented the Missile Artillery from appearing but no such luck. It appeared anyway and promptly nuked Beijing.

Any hints on this one? (I'm fairly new to Command so I'm sure there are a lot of tactics I am overlooking). I'm using Build 823.
