I just purchased UC and tried to update using True [cough] Update. Error downloading file #99 Line 2." Huh?

Matrix, please rename the program to "Untrue Update" ok? Not a good way to start a relationship with a program. True not.

go to the Matrix site and download it there. That's what I did.

Yes, that's what I'm doing. I know the game itself will be great. I'm just off to a rocky start trying to work around their untrue update so I can begin. Plus, anyone would be grouchy connecting to Matrix on a 56k modem (downloading at a blistering 2.5kb per second).

I hear you. Waiting is a pain, especially when I haven't even had the opportunity to play the game. Overnight is something I do... but that's more difficult over a single night with four moderately large files.

Even so, I'm glad they host their own updates instead of making me go to something like Fileplanet.

Would be nice if they could fix "True" Update though. I like that "one click shopping."
